About the Founder

Jackie Bravo Vicere is a mother of two, a longtime photographer, and a yoga teacher with a background in education, physical therapy, healing arts, and community organizing. Born and raised in Mexico and now deeply rooted in Chicago, Jackie brings a culturally responsive, working-class lens to wellness, one that honors real bodies, real schedules, and real life. Sol Space was created as an extension of her belief that wellness is not a luxury, but a shared practice and a collective responsibility.

Sol Space exists to remind our neighbors that wellness is not a luxury, it’s a shared practice, a cultural expression, and a community effort.

Sol Space exists to support people in reconnecting with themselves and each other through yoga, creativity, and shared experiences. Our offerings invite exploration—of the body, of identity, and of what it means to belong—through movement, mindfulness, and community care.

We create welcoming, real-life spaces for yoga, art, and gathering that honor diverse bodies, cultures, and schedules. Whether through family yoga, bilingual classes, creative workshops, or neighborhood events, Sol Space encourages people to move, explore, and show up as they are.

Wellness here isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence, connection, and the courage to move through life together.
