OUR CORE
Sol Space was founded by Georgena Hurst and Jackie Bravo Vicere—two moms, creators, and community-builders in Jefferson Park who believe wellness and creativity should be accessible to everyone.
At Sol Space, our mission is to nurture a connected, empowered neighborhood through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful shared experiences. We envision a space where yoga, art, and community care come together to support the well-being of working families, creatives, and anyone seeking a place to belong.
We bring this mission to life through:
• Yoga offerings for real people
Accessible classes for all levels—including bilingual options, kids and family yoga, and a free ongoing community class—rooted in alignment, breath, and connection.
• Creative, cultural, and wellness-driven community events
Workshops, art showcases, seasonal gatherings, mom-friendly meetups, and neighborhood celebrations designed to bring people together and spark joy.
• Collaborative space for local makers and small businesses
An affordable, flexible studio available for photography sessions, therapy, private classes, rehearsals, or small events—supporting entrepreneurship within our neighborhood.
• Programs rooted in inclusion, culture, and care
From family-centered offerings to community projects, we strive to create a welcoming environment that reflects the diversity and heart of Jefferson Park.
Sol Space exists to remind our neighbors that wellness is not a luxury—it’s a shared practice, a cultural expression, and a community effort.
